Synopsis

Join the Minack Musical Theatre Academy for a spectacular of music and dance, showcasing songs from the stage that have made their way into the charts, supported by the Rising Stars. This show is jam-packed with songs from Juke Box musicals that we know and love; We Will Rock You, Beautiful, Bat out of Hell, Mama Mia. As well as musicals that have found themselves appearing in the music charts; Wicked, Matilda, Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Cats, Cabaret. This will be a night to remember for all musical theatre lovers. The Minack Musical Theatre Academy is a programme that helps young people in Cornwall to develop the advanced performance skills and knowledge necessary to start their journey towards a performing arts career. Students spend one day a month working with professional practitioners and taking part in workshops with guest speakers from the theatre world, including leading directors, actors and West End stars. This group is a Minack Education project and is funded by the income the Minack receives on the sale of day visitor tickets. Run time 2 hours, with an interval.
