Synopsis

Join your host Tony Elvin of The Wine Events Co for a unique screening of the 1959 comedy classic, Some Like It Hot, alongside a tasting of five themed wines. “The greatest comedy ever made [...] It is structured so meticulously that it glides from moment to moment with the elegance of an Olympic figure skater, and the consummate screwball dialogue is so polished that every line includes either a joke, a double meaning, or an allusion to a line elsewhere in the film” — NICHOLAS BARBER (BBC CULTURE) Our classic movie will be paused at appropriate moments to pour you a glass of themed wine in this interactive ‘movie and wine’ experience. Expect high jinx, great wines and a fantastic night. Over 18s only. No alcohol, no problem. If you require a non-alcoholic alternative please let us know at least a week prior to the event.
